Julia Gillard confirms the end of the world

Turns out the Mayan prophecy is right, says Australian PM.
In her latest bid for viral superstardom (since her last slice of viral superstardom), Julia Gillard has joined Australian young-thing broadcaster Triple J in marking the imminent expiry of the universe.

"The end of the world is coming," she says. "It turns out the Mayan calendar was true."
