by Listener Archive / 14 December, 2012
Your chance to win one of 80 double passes to Quartet.
QuartetTo celebrate Dustin Hoffman’s directorial debut, the New Zealand Listener is giving away 80 in-season double passes to Quartet. Adapted from the play by Ronald Howard and featuring a stellar cast with a slew of Academy Awards under their belts, Quartet is a “pitch-perfect comedy”.
Beecham House, a home for retired opera singers, is abuzz with the news that it is to host a new resident, the star Jean Horton (played by a resplendent Maggie Smith). This is received with mixed emotions by the residents, one of whom happens to be her former husband and singing partner (played by Tom Courtenay). But the show must go on. Can the passage of time heal old wounds?

All entries must be received before Friday, December 29.
