And in further fame, he makes BuzzFeed's list of "the most awkward moments in handshake history", too.
While Maurice Williamson is getting global garlands for his "incredible" speech in the marriage equality debate - see, for example, Gawker and HuffPo - his boss has had one of his mawkish moments celebrated, in BuzzFeed's selection of the "15 Most Ridiculous World Leaders Of All Time".

In the company of the likes of Julia Gillard, Kevin Rudd and Boris Johnson, Key earns his place "For thinking a three-way handshake is somehow possible", explains Dave Stopera.
