John Key: the biopic

by Toby Manhire / 20 December, 2013
A spoof trailer for the Scorsese-directed life-story of the NZ prime minister.
In a week of fresh tax incentives for film-making in New Zealand, director Jonathan King (Black Sheep, Under the Mountain) has been inspired to put together a trailer for an imagined John Key biopic. With a little help from Martin Scorsese, who happens to have a new picture, The Wolf of Wall Street, on its way.

Sadly for the prime minister, it's not all that likely, should he ever get his own film, that Leonardo DiCaprio will be cast in the lead.
