In retirement, Benedict XVI will still live at the Vatican. So what, wondered Twitter, to call the sitcom?
Within minutes, the accounts @BonoForPope and @TonyForPope (ie Blair) were up and running, and there was a lot of other activity, much of it forgettable.
And today has seen another solid effort from the Twitterati. News that Benedict will continue to live in the Vatican post-retirement had the Wairarapa’s favourite farmer, John Hart, observe: “So the retired Pope will live in the Vatican, neighbour to the new Pope. Best new sitcom premise ever?”
And with that, a Twitter parlour game began.
