Bearded Clam – Good Night

The Bearded Clam boys are popping up at Good Day cafe for two nights with an English seaside-themed event – the first of a series of seasonal dinners. Served to a Britpop and 90s rave soundtrack, the set menu ($39pp) includes a fried fish sandwich, plus sides and snacks. Culprit

Culprit are doing a preview of the food they'll be offering at their new venue.

Low Brow at ACL

Kyle Street and Jordan Macdonald of Culprit restaurant open a new venue next month in Queen Street’s Queens Rise development. Catch a preview of their food at Auckland City Limits this weekend, where they'll be popping up for the day. A limited three-item menu includes spiced fried chicken with pickles, "fast food fries" covered in McD sauce and chicken salt, and a rum-spiked cornflake and peanut-covered sundae.

Vegan Truck Stop at La Cigale

Forget cooking tonight, because Temaki Truck, Wise Boys Burgers, Lalele Organic and Otherside food trucks will all be parked up at La Cigale from 5-9pm for a special vegan-friendly event. On the all-plant-based menu: pizza, salads, stuffed flatbreads, mushroom bourguignon, and cakes.
