The new Ford Endura.

The ultimate companion for weekend road trips and everyday missions, the new Ford Endura offers an exhilarating drive — along with a raft of premium features and advanced safety.

Whether you’re heading out to Piha for a surf, Muriwai for golf or Coatesville for a weekend, the new Ford Endura ST-Line makes getting there part of the thrill. The capability and technology of this new medium-size SUV gives it a real edge. Thanks to the Ford Endura’s performance-oriented powertrain, it always brings the power — and the fun.

With distinctive alloys, body-styling kit and unique badging, the exterior of this SUV commands attention. Under the hood there’s plenty to play with — upgraded sports suspension and a twin-turbo performance diesel engine. And the technology? Ford Endura ST-Line has a load of premium features including Active Noise Control and a heap of smart safety features.

For that superb growl and enhanced performance on city streets and the open road, the Endura’s engine features two turbochargers. The advanced 2.0 TDCi bi-turbo engine is an awesome 154kW to maximise performance, torque and economy — all while lowering emissions.

At modest speeds, the primary turbo gives the extra boost when needed — like that quick right turn into busy West Auckland traffic. Once you’re out on the motorway or open road, the secondary turbo gives you the power to shoot past that truck or slow-moving backpacker van in the blink of an eye.

Ford Endura

The Endura’s cabin is your spacious control centre, designed for comfort and capability. Road trips always need a good soundtrack, so crank up the Endura’s 12-speaker sound system for epic bass and impressive treble. But sometimes it’s peace and quiet you want while out on a drive. Ford’s Active Noise Control tech silences extra cabin noise: microphones detect and measure specific sound waves, and an ingenious control unit can separate sounds you want to hear — like conversation and music. The system also creates inaudible “white noise” to cancel out any unwelcome racket. It doesn’t end there. When you’re bowling down the highway, the acoustic windscreen glass and laminated glass for both front door windows further reduce wind noise, while underbody panels and wheel-arch liners further minimise road noise for the ultimate easy ride.

For your second-row passengers, the two rear outer seats are fitted with rear inflatable seat belts. These reduce pressure on the chest and control head and neck movement in the event of impact, with innovative technology that can help reduce the likelihood of injury.

Taking on those wet winter roads is made safer by Ford’s Intelligent All-Wheel Drive technology. The seamless transition between front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive performance gives you a more secure footing on the road, especially in slippery conditions. And after a chilly winter surf, just flick on the heated seats (front and back) and relax on the drive home.

Now released in New Zealand, the Ford Endura ST-Line is available to test drive today. Set to be your ultimate companion that’s always geared for adventure, the Endura is the new SUV that will seriously upscale your drive.
