The prize

Sofia Coppola’s atmospheric thriller, The Beguiled comes to SKY Movies Premiere June 16 and streams on NEON June 20, and thanks to Penguin Books NZ, NOTED has 10 copies of the novel from which the film was adapted to give away.

Based on the 1966 southern gothic novel by Thomas Cullinan and set during the Civil War in 1864, Coppola’s rendition tells the story of lust, temptation and sexual tensions at a Virginia boarding school through the eyes of Ms. Farnsworth and her girls. Starring Nicole Kidman, Colin Farrell, Kirsten Dunst, and Elle Fanning.
